Dream Story: Meet Diva Rebecca Conway Proctor

I'm definitely a dynamic Diva and living the life where I'm always dreaming BIG!

Life hasn't really thrown out the best cards for me... at two my parents divorced and it was a battle to calm the feuds between the two. Around the age of five my mother's boyfriend's son raped me and there really wasn't anything done about it except that he was kicked out of the house we lived in. I guess at the time I saw it as my mother picking her boyfriend over her daughter.

What Do Your Clothes Say About You?

Sarah Whittaker, The Wardrobe Shrink(TM), can interpret your wardrobe and tell you what you are saying about yourself, often unconsciously, through what you are wearing.

"Every item you are wearing is a word that says something about you. Together, your outfit makes up a statement that tells others how you see yourself and what you want them to think about you. You create your own "wardrobe language" from your life experiences and by those that influence you", says Sarah Whittaker.

Judy Gruen Offers Up The Women’s Daily Irony Supplement

Ever fall for the lure of expensive, exotic moisturizers promising impossible anti-aging miracles? Ever receive one of those happy, sappy New Year's letters from someone you barely remember from fourth grade? Can't decide whether to stay friends with a size two woman who won't eat a carrot because of its high-carb content?

If so, you're in good company. Award-winning humorist and Bikram yoga dropout Judy Gruen copes with all this and more in The Women's Daily Irony Supplement. Her riffs on female obsessions, motherhood, men, and why a woman's home is her hassle are candid, fresh, and surprisingly intimate. Reading these comic gems is guaranteed to improve the health of every woman, because laughter releases endorphins!

Starbucks® has chosen to feature a quip from the book on 5 million cups this May.

Bright Lights, Big Ass... Yet Another Memoir by Jen Lancaster

JenJen Lancaster is a witty Diva that can write her socks off (and for those familiar with her 'Quaker-like modesty,' you understand exactly why I chose socks instead of pants)!

In Bright Lights, Big Ass Lancaster leaves no stone unturned. From Rachel Ray to the long overdue trip to the 'girlie doctor' (and everything in between), Jen's fearless, comic, cutting wit takes readers on a laugh-out-loud look at life in the windy city.

Although Sex In the City gave us a pretty illusion as to how modern city gals live and love, Jen gives a not-so-fabulous, albeit hilarious, look at city living and how she learned to love and appreciate her strange, silly, unsophisticated urban life. Readers loved and loathed Lancaster in her first memoir, Bitter Is The New Black, as she was the kind of woman who unapologetically had it all, let everyone know it, but never appreciated it until she was laid off and faced the hard reality of being an out-of-work overachiever.
