We have all heard about soy as a healthy alternative to drinking dairy milk, but why is it so good for us?
Soy, is actually a derivative of the soy bean, and is used in many types of foods found in the grocery store. Traditionally, when you hear the word "soy" you may think of soy milk such as Silk® Soymilk, but actually there are many different types of soy products at the grocery store. Some items include tofu, meatless products (Morningstar Farms® and Boca ®), and soy based cheese and deli items.
